The Hot Toys DX47AE Darth Vader (Sith Apprentice) 1/6 scale figure freezes Anakin Skywalker in a moment of transformation—standing tall, hooded in his deep brown Jedi cloak, body clenched in rage, and lightsaber drawn. His stance is tense yet centered: both feet grounded, shoulders locked, and arms crossed forward as he raises his red blade with cold precision. This is not a passive figure—it feels alive. The dramatic folds in his robe, the subtle lean in his posture, and the fury in his eyes all bring this scene to life. Whether displayed with his saber ignited or in a brooding Force stance, the visual storytelling is unmistakable: this is the instant where Anakin becomes something darker.

The figure’s sculpt and costuming are engineered for high realism under close-up viewing. The newly developed head features Sith-red eyes, sculpted scarring, and rolling eyeballs for custom expressions. His implanted wool hair flows naturally across the forehead and temples, framing a face filled with anger and inner conflict. The multi-layered tunic and cloak fall in natural weight, with wire inside the robe for shaping cinematic drapes. You also get an interchangeable mechanical right arm to represent his corrupted Jedi identity—half flesh, half machine.

Function meets form with an arsenal of dynamic display options. The Hot Toys DX47AE includes a USB-powered LED red lightsaber that glows in low light, as well as motion-blur effect blades for both red and blue hilts. With nine swappable hands, including Force-gripping and saber-swinging poses, you can customize his entire body language. The custom base and themed backdrop complete the display, reinforcing this dark and iconic turning point. As a limited release of just 1,000 pieces, this figure isn’t just a collectible—it’s a full sculpted moment of Star Wars history, captured in form and fury.

Character

Anakin Skywalker was once the Jedi Order’s most gifted warrior—strong in the Force, fearless in battle, and deeply emotional. But his fear of loss and thirst for control led him down a darker path. In Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, Anakin accepts the name Darth Vader from Emperor Palpatine, marking the beginning of his fall. At this point, he turns against the Jedi, carries a red lightsaber, and begins to walk the line between man and monster. This figure represents that exact moment—when Anakin is no longer just a Jedi, but not yet the armored Sith Lord the galaxy will come to fear.
